Would you write for a web site that only assigns you records that no one else asks for?

About Me
The government wants you to know...
Many of the albums and dvds that I review are sent to me, free, by record labels and bands. Also many more that I do not review. Sometimes I get into shows free, too.

No. In fact, the first time through, it seemed like this was happening at PM and if I hadn't known someone who'd been there much longer from my Stylus days who reassured me that wasn't the normal course of things, I might have up and quit right away.
Funny you should mention PopMatters...it's been four HP lists in a row with no assignments there.
Really. I haven't been asking for much, but I begged for the New Order ones and got it (have to finish that up tomorrow). Hmm.
I think I would miss my PopMatters records least of all the places I write for...and I'm definitely doing too much.
It would most definitely be their (our?) loss.
I think I'm just going to take a break and see how it feels.
I've been writing 5-6 reviews a week for a couple of years...it'd be nice to go back to three. Especially if I'm only getting records that no one has heard about and no one cares to read about.
